Premonitions

I'll get on the plane at Madison's local airport Saturday afternoon.

Constricting anxiety waxed, transcendent euphoria waned. Transcendent euphoria waxed, constricting anxiety waned. In starry heavens above, the waxing and waning gaze of Guru's deva eye falls upon me from the future.

As the date draws nigh, an eschatological equanimity has overcome me. It's already begun.

I'll get off the plane as sunday sets in Delhi, go see the Taj Mahal, Humayun's Tomb, maybe even a protest or two, then on the train to a hill station retreat in Uttarakhand for two weeks, then full realization: Varanasi.
